What did you do this past week?

This past week in cs371g I completed the Deque List project with Kaushik Malapati. The project proved to be very long and tiring, but finally, after the 25 hours we buried into the project we completed it. In class, we learned about containers and container adapters. In my other class, CS373 my group and I finished our website which was exciting to finally finish the project.

What’s in your way?

I only have 4 big assignments left in both of my classes. A project, technical report, an exam, and a presentation. It’s always a good feeling when the semester is about to come to a wrap and you’re happy with the work and grades you’ve achieved thus far.

What will you do next week?

This next week I will be finishing my technical report and the graph project for cs371g. I haven’t started the graph project, but I want to get it done as soon as possible so that it’s one less thing I have to worry about.

What was your experience of stack, back_insert_iterator, and graph? (this question will vary, week to week)

I have seen/used a stack, back_insert_iterator, and graphs. I just have not used these in C++ which they do have syntactical differences compared to other languages I use, but I feel that I have a good understanding of them.

How are you doing and holding up? What’s been most helpful for you in terms of support at this time?

I’m doing well. I think staying busy with school has helped me productive with the current state of the world. This summer I took two, nine-week upper-division CS classes which is going to help my degree progress tremendously :)

What made you happy this week?

Finishing the last phase of our project in CS373. It’s just a relief to not have to worry about it anymore.

What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?

My pick-of-the-week is LottieFiles. LottieFiles allows you to create and design interactive animations for your websites. If you’re into web-design this is definitely a tool you should look into using as it made my groups life a lot easier for developing our website.
